"Her Flag" Celebrating 100 Anniversary of the 19th Amendment in North Dakota

To celebrate the anniversary of the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote, Marilyn Artus, Her Flag Founder, is traveling the path of ratification through the capital cities of the 36 states that ratified the amendment. Women in each state have been selected to collaborate on creating a flag with a stripe representing that state. Each state's stripe will be presented and stitched into the flag onsite in their capital city with Marilyn. In North Dakota, she is collaborating with artist Darby Ness of Minot and Associate Poet Laureate Bonnie Larson Staiger of Bismarck. 

Her Flag is a not a political piece of work, rather a powerful, positive symbol used to educate and celebrate this truly momentous American anniversary.
